Oak is a very versatile wood smoking flavour that gives off a rounded strong aroma, ideal for red meats, game and fish.
Using chips will last longer than shavings
because they are bigger, resulting in a longer lasting true bbq taste.
Method
- Place the required amount of chips in a container and cover
with water, Beer or Wine to ensure maximum coverage.
- Soak for 30 mins or for best results a couple of hours.
