Whole Annatto Seeds (Achiote)

A mild spice that frequents Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.

• Gives a rich vibrant red colour to dishes, often used to colour cheeses.
• Delivers a rich, sweet peppery flavour.
• Add seeds direct to dishes or infuse in water, strain and use the liquid to flavour/colour dishes.
• Ideal for stocks for paella, rice dishes and tandoori dishes.
• Add tbsp to hot oil for 1-2 minutes to colour & flavour the oil before cooking vegetables, meat or potatoes.
