Description
A Rogan Josh is a medium curry dish often made using lamb, this masala powder makes it easy to achieve the authentic flavours at home!
Lamb Rogan Josh Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 600g lamb neck fillet, cut into bitesize chunks
- 50g rogan josh masala
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large onion
- 100ml plain yoghurt
- Heat oil in a pan, add the onions and cook until soft and caramelised, add the garlic, masala powder and tomato puree and cook for a further 2 minutes.
- Add the lamb and fry for 4-5 minutes until browned on each side, add 400ml water and simmer for 50-60 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- Stir in the yoghurt and cook for a further 10 minutes, serve piping hot.
