Mutton Masala Powder - 1kg

A traditional Indian curry dish made easy with fresh mutton meat, authentic spices & big flavours.

Mutton Masala Recipe:

Ingredients: 

• 500g mutton meat, cut into bitesize pieces
• 2 large onions
• 50g mutton masala
• 3 garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 tomatoes, finely chopped
• 250ml stock
• 200ml plain yoghurt

Method:

1. Heat oil in a pan and add the onions, cook until soft and caramelised, add the garlic and cook for a further 2 minutes.
2. Add the meat and brown on each side, add the masala powder and mix well, cook for around 2 minutes or until fragrant.
3. Add the tomatoes, stock and cook for 5 minutes, the tomatoes should be soft, add in the yoghurt along with a splash of water, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for around an hour, adding more water along the way if necessary.
4. The stock should have reduced to a thick stock and the meat should be tender, serve piping hot.
